June 9: Reaching Puebla de Sanabria

This town represents the close end to crossing along the relatively flat lands of the la Plata, and heading into the final stretch, the mountains of Galicia.

Galicia is much like the name suggests, Galic. The blond, blue eye, fair skin Celts settled here. A place where it rains a lot seems to fit the ticket. Bag pipe music abounds.
